Special programs for the youngest
from 6/7 years to adults and families!

We meet 2 or 3 times a week at 3pm at the dive centre and prepare for an exciting group of ECO-Snorkeling....

There is a fun class about the Marine Park and its surprising organisms to learn love and respect for the underwater world and not only... (!) At about 4pm we jump on 1 or 2 large ribs and coast to some calm waters of the many bays or to Molara island. Generally we are back at 6:30PM.

We provide all necessary warming suits, masks, fins, and safety jackets for the smaller kids. We have professionals that are experienced in dealing with younger kids, a swim instructor, a biologist, and of course a skipper for the boat ride! Supervision is divided in small groups to ensure safety and fun.

After partecipation to 3 lessons and snorkeling excursions a DIPLOMA with a picture and a colorful AQUARIUS T-shirt are the well deserved rewards!

"It is not what you look at that matters (sensory level), but what you see (perception)" ... by H. Thoreau

At AQUARIUS we love nature, its dynamics, and of course "catching that special moment"... We are avid photographers and love to transmit our sense of surprise as we encounter the beauty underneath. We offer photo safaris in the protected marine park for photographers that need their time and support in feeling comfortable while photo diving. And we offer both basic digital photo courses and underwater photo development tailored to your personal needs. The area offers plenty of spots for super macro, macro, and wide angle settings.

Basic courses are offered with your own personal camera or with one of our available ones (Fuji F31, EXR200 or Sea&Sea DX1G). More advanced courses may include your camera equipment or our Olympus EPL1 and strobes. In our advanced coursework we also include an overview of basic techniques of our "photolab" where we use software programs to "develop" the pictures. The basic course requires a minimum of 2 dives.

For the advanced or professional photographers we plan the dive sites depending on the subjects that need to be focused on:
- for MACRO we often go to the Chrisso wreck and allow ample time (we are in shallow waters!) to shoot both the large variety of organisms or the coreagraphy of this 90 meter wreck.
- for WIDE ANGLE we often go to Tedja Liscia or Secca del Papa where rock formations, gorgonians, and/or larger fish give plenty of challenge.

With 3 interesting wrecks available within recreational diving we offer 2 full days of diving and speciality coursework with certification.

Generally we dive the Chrisso (-8m), the WindJammer (-39mt), the Omega (-18mt)

The offer is often integrated with other certifications such as "DEEP" or NITROX" or "DEEPEXT" if you do not yet have them.

Besides the shipwrecks there are remains of the historical REGGIANE, a plane from the 2nd world war near "isola del Fico" (-33mt)

For people with the DEEPEXT certification (-45mt) we can also dive the Mamma Elvira wreck full of the Bauxite explosive powder!

We have also started a cooperation with some "fanatic wreckers" (!) whom with knowledge and experience are able to offer (on programmable days or weekend) a course to learn what to look for and how to identify their parts. The course is intended to open up our eyes to a new dimension of wrecks and not seeing them as some rust and remains with no meaning (!!!). Some more info at their web link www.fanaticwrecker.eu

To learn more details about known wrecks within the Marine Park waters check our dive map or follow this Marine Park link.

The Capo Figari area is a fantastic scenery diversion with excellent dive opportunities. With reasonable weather Figari is about a 35 minute boat ride from our beach of Cala Suaraccia. Capo Figari is part of "Nature 2000" a network of locations of special interest within European Community for its habitat and naturalistic values. There are a number of safe caves that are worthwhile diving because of their unique settings and because they offer a variety of organisms that are generally seen only in caves.

This area, outside the protected waters of the "Marine Park of Tavolara e Molara", offers crystal clear water and many cave passages that will thrill who likes this type of diving. Inside the caves you will find lobsters, different species of shrimps, eels, and the shy brotula. Some air spaces trapped in the rocks allow you to emerge and enjoy a few jokes and some fun group smiles !!!

Departure is half hour earlier than usual dive excursions and with a minimum booking of 6 divers.  Contact us ahead for planning.
